Yes this was one of our other interesting contacts. We discussed with the 
marble guy that a connection between marble and osm would be usefull. One 
problem for marble might be that they need a server to get tiles or similar 
stuff from us. But the mercartor projection wouldn't fit at the poles. So 
we'd have to set up another tiles server which would serve tiles in another 
projection. 
But this is definitely another interesting synergy project.
