Just committed an update to Potlatch:
- Added support for non-ASCII characters in keys and values. Please
let me know how you get on with this, I'm no i18n expert.
- You can disable the custom pointers (pen/hand) if you like, using a
new preference. This makes Potlatch feel more responsive on systems
with a slow Flash Player (Mac/Linux).
- GPS track display now works (thanks to TomH for squishing the server
bug). Note that this _won't_ work with previously imported GPS tracks
(since the Rails port went live) as they're missing a timestamp.
- Potlatch now indicates the direction of a way, using a little
rotating arrow at the bottom left. Alert users will notice that this
looks like it should be a clickable button. It will be, in time.
I'll now start working on:
- Retry/alert on no response from server
- Display of unwayed segments
- Coping with : and / in keys/values
and, after that, 'waying' unwayed segments, POIs, and a bunch of other stuff.
As ever, please note that this won't actually be live until Steve
deploys it on the server.
Thanks to all those who continue to report bugs and make suggestions. :)
cheers
Richard
