I can't speak for other people, but for me the problem lies more in
the fact that I don't see the point in distinguishing between those
and a park. Presumably they're going to be rendered the same colour as
a park and they are used for the same purposes as a park, why not call
it a park.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, just call it a duck.

There are plenty of green areas around here also, but it wouldn't
occur to me to give it a different tag to the parks in the area. It's
grassy, you can walk on it. No practical difference, so why tag it
different?
