surely not in the area I'm refering to ;-) . Further, we all have 
started one day, so there's no need to be ashamed of having done some 
mismapping. Only people who do nothing do not make mistakes :) .

Anyway, can you provide a bounding box or a street ID I can check?

One of the most important things is to switch on the »Show direction 
arrows« option in the JOSM preferences. All segments of a way must be 
drawn in the same direction, in the optimal case, draw them one after 
each other, thus see the second option »Show segment IDs« (or similar, 
I'm running a german version, sorry).
