[OSM-talk] Printing posters

Hi,

As you may already know, I'm setting up a workshop + mapping party in four 
weeks. Besides office space, some GPS units and people for the talks, I'm 
looking how to print some posters.

However, I'm not aware of any tools/scripts for this task.

So: what is the best way to print a poster? Better said, what is the best way 
to create a huge image, suitable for printing it at poster size?

I thought about using almien's "BigMap" script to get some large images, but 
that script is no longer online AFAIK.
