yes, however one that WONTFIX.

However, due to several limitations in the way job (render) requests are
handled they are easily lost. If there's nothing new after maybe 2 hours
(used to be less than an hour but that recently changed) re-request the
tile. Even more so, if it's already densely mapped you will have to
repeat this process several times because some renderers cannot cope,
and you cannot pre-select a renderer that should preferably be given
your render request.

yes (however you have to look at mapnik tiles to "encourage" them to be
re-rendered.)
