I have noticed many cases where there are holes in the coastline data.
One such area is Oban[1], where the coastline data has the tag
"created_by=dmgroom_coastlines".
Another area was the island of Cumbrae[2], which had a large coastline
hole in it until I filled it in with reference to landsat.
Since Scotland (especially the West Coast) has a lot of coastline, these
holes are concentrated here.
I assume the PGS data is automatically generated from satellite photos,
and in these cases, there was a cloud in the way.
