[OSM-talk] Idea: Mapping Evenings

While adding in data from the Southampton party it's become evident that 
whilst most areas are well covered, there are still a few "holes". That 
led me to think of a kind-of extension to the mapping party idea, 
particularly feasible now it stays light till late - the mapping evening.

Idea is that in an area where there are 2 or 3 active mappers already, to 
meet on a weekday evening, map for an hour or two and then adjourn to the 
pub, possibly doing some editing if a laptop and internet is available. 

I'd like to propose an initial one for Southampton, to fill in some of the 
gaps on the eastern side (Bitterne/Woolston). No details yet - I need to 
work out exactly where the gaps were - but is anyone in the area up for 
meeting either this Friday, or a Thursday or Friday in the next couple of 
weeks or so, to map between 7 and 8.30 (should be late enough for people 
to get back from work) and then find a suitable pub?
