Was thinking about this most of the afternoon while.... erm... mapping more of
the New Forest. Have been trying to decide which would be best out of
developing my own countryside orientated editor or modify Potlatch to produce
a countryside focused editor which could be used to draw features on NPE
maps, lower-res countryside Yahoo imagery (good enough for many field
boundaries - just) and also show SRTM contours.
Maybe with the dev weekend developments modifying Potlatch would be best to
produce a custom countryside version. This could also allow adding nodes
(e.g. summits) as well as ways. Richard - are you happy with this? Will ming
(as opposed to commercial Flash) suffice?
