I rather fell at the first hurdle looking at this. I have a node id in my
hand from the search, but the 0.4 api documentation doesn't list a get node
by id. The 0.3 had this, so I was assuming this would be easy. Is it really
not possible to request a node by id as in
http://www.openstreetmap.org/api/0.4/node/123456 ? Or has it just fallen out
of the page http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/OSM_Protocol_Version_0.4

I'd test it, but I get 500 errors all the time, even on the home page.

David
