[OSM-talk] SRTM WMS servers

Following up the countryside discussion the other day, I have just found the 
SRTM contours WMS server that I did some months ago.

It's available at

http://nick.dev.openstreetmap.org/srtm.php

and takes a lat/lon bounding box.

There is also another version at

http://nick.dev.openstreetmap.org/srtmgoog.php

which is in Mercator projection and uses the same coordinate system as the 
main OSM slippy maps (mapnik or tiles at home).

Also Freemap now has contours for more of the UK. I am to cover all of England 
and Wales - unfortunately, disc space on the Freemap server does not permit 
me to cover all of Scotland.
