[OSM-talk] potlatch work-flow

Before the big change I was using the applet to create segments, and somebody 
else was nice enough to transform them to ways when he knew the names of the 
streets. In JOSM segments have different colors than ways and they were hence 
easy to spot.
Using potlatch I wonder how somebody easily finds "unfinished" ways. Is there 
a tag for that? Can JOSM find ways without names (and if yes, are they 
sufficiently rare)?
any ideas?
