[OSM-talk] Failed Log In to www.openstreetmap.org

I'm having the same problem, except I haven't tried free-map. And the
"reset password" link gives an error message:

      Application error

Change this error message for exceptions thrown outside of an action
(like in Dispatcher setups or broken Ruby code) in public/500.html

(But since my account works in JOSM, I guess that shouldn't be
necessary.) Trying to create a new account using the same details, I get
an error (besides the obvious fact that the username and email address
are already used) saying that the username is too short. Apparently
there's a minimum length of three chars for new accounts. Is there some
way this could affect the login? (Through some included sanity
checks/string functions or something?)

I don't get any error messages or anything. It just ignores the fact I'm
trying to log in.

Suggestions, anyone?
