That's what I was thinking.

Good to know.  Does the same apply when moving a point?

I think what is needed is an indication when an upload was not
successful.  Maybe highlight it in red.  With new points and ways one
can check their ids.  When editing existing features there is no way
of knowing.

That message never seems to go away.
