[OSM-talk] religion and places_of_worship

Hi,

I know this was brought up before, but it's quite embarassing. This, for
example:

is the largest mosque in Hounslow. The Sikh Gurdwara is similarly topped
 with a cross. If no-one can think of a more neutral symbol, would it be
possible just to stop rendering non-christian places of worship for now?
 (that would be on both mapnik and osmarender, which both have the same
problem). If that's not possible,in the short term I guess I'll just
create a new tag for all my local non-christian p-o-ws so they vanish.
