Absolutely, but personally I would suggest that it is a matter of timing
rather than 'if' ncx_ref is defrepated, but possibly we are talking about 6
months not 1 week. Others are of course entitled to their own opinion and we
need to have the discussion but I wanting to highlight the positive
experience I was having with them.

The editing of relationships does need some thought both in JOSM (where it
is possible but sometimes pretty obtuse)and also in Potlatch, where you are
waiting and watching for a while.

I would be interested however, if gravitystorm and freemap would start
rendering from both route relations in addition to ncx_ref so people to see
the results of using route relations.
