I see it the other way. I feel that when I'm mapping I have some sort of
right/authority(not really but I could blag it) to go and map the road that
says private.
I do have limits, like if there's a gate that I'd have to open or it says
'private property', or it's down the side of a prison.
Right now I'm mapping Durham and feel it good to get some detail inside the
college sites. I was hoping to go into University/Castle college (the most
posh-est 'elite'est college) and be asked what I was doing with the result
of Castle being the only college off the map because they refused (I was
after a media stunt basically). Sadly nobody asked as I walked through and
then there was only a little circle of a drive unless I was going to open a
door.
Ohwell at least I got that antidote out of it.
