[OSM-talk] Tagging general buildings

Hi again,

I'm wanting to tag a building that is going to be a conference centre and
will also be used for church services/meetings (the church has just bought
and got planning permission for this building).
So I think it's important that this is on the map with it's name as it's out
of town, and people will be wanting to find it to go to the few things that
are happening before it's furbished. (the church is still using a school
most sundays)

There is no tag for a conference centre. I would propose one but I think
there should also be a general tag for buildings so that names can be
rendered.
Can anybody make a suggestion? amenity=building/name=whatever?

In the case of this church, I would be thinking of something like:
area tagged with:
amenity=conference_centre (or just amenity=building)
name=The Durham Centre
then a node inside tagged with:
amenity=place_of_worship
name=Emmanuel Church
religion=christian
denomination=New Froniters
