	   Hi,

	Just a reminder that Steve Coast is in Dublin this evening, presenting Open
Streetmap on behalf of the Irish Linux User Group (ILUG.)

	Details at http://www.linux.ie

Free maps! Talk on Thursday, followed by mapping weekend
========================================================

Steve Coast will be giving a talk about OpenStreetMap in the HEAnet offices,
in the IFSC, Dublin on Thursday the 22nd of November at 7pm.

All are welcome.

OpenStreetMap is a project aimed squarely at creating and providing free
geographic data such as street maps to anyone who wants them. The project was
started because most maps you think of as free actually have legal or
technical restrictions on their use, holding back people from using them in
creative, productive or unexpected ways.

Steve will also be bringing over OpenStreetMap's loaner GPS units so we can
hold a mapping weekend Sat 24th - Sun 25th, and get any new converts up to
speed as soon as possible after his talk.

	Refreshments afterwards in the Isaac Butt pub nearby.

	Best regards,
	-->Gar
