When I walk down certain roads/paths I do go 'ooo, this is a nice curve' and
later I will be on JOSM carefully tracing it's detail.
But then I probably have OSM-OCD and enjoy things like that.

No I'm not familiar with the story, and google/wikipedia didn't help but it
