[OSM-talk] analyzing number and length of way, nodes, etc

Hi,

I want to quantitatively analyze my area after about a year of mapping
with OSM.

What I want is to get:
number of ways, nodes
total length of tagged roads
number of untagged roads
etc.

Are there any regexp/script incantations available for this?
