[OSM-talk] Stanley, Falklands now mapped & OpenGeoData

Following the donation of data from the Falkland Islands government,
Stanley (the capital) is now mapped to a good level of detail. It's only
showing up in the Osmarender layer at the moment, though [1]. The
locations of the settlements have also been imported. I'll be adding the
road network at some later date, when I have time.

I'm quite pleased with this, especially as most web mapping sites don't
have much detail on the Falklands. MapQuest, MSN, Yahoo & Google all show
the location of Stanley, but no detail.

I'd like to get this mentioned on OpenGeoData if possible, but I have no
idea who writes it, or how to get in touch with them. Do they read this
list?
