Good Idea, haven't thought about that.

To accomodate the GPS-traces harvesters, the GPS client application
should have following options in harvester mode: "public-transit" (as
only buses and taxis can get to certain areas), "driving school",
"truck of N tons" (as there are limitations such track can get to),
"courier bike" or even Rickshaw

Someone will need to analyse the videos, and this raises hardware
demands for harvesters dramatically. It would be nice feature though,
if photo done from the harvester device (provided one has a camera),
will be automatically related to the GPS points recording in progress.

IMHO, this is better than note taking or voice recorder approaches, as
photos are easier to offload to other users for postprocessing.
