Gregory -- take a look at Mapstraction. Abstract interface to many mapping APIs, and includes support for OSM.

Subject: [OSM-talk] Slippy OSM on my website

Hi again,

I'm unsure if this has been setup, but is there some code which I can put on my website so I can have the OSM slippy map(mapnik or osmarender, im not fussy) on my website.
I'm thinking of something like the google maps api, though I havn't used that.

*waits for someone to point me to a wiki page I missed*

From Gregory.
