I'm working on that (plus some things that people kept asking for like
deleting ends of ways, deleting junctions, ...).  Should I just drop that into
SVN or add a branch, or ...?

BTW, I have subscribed to a shiny new mailing list recently, I believe it was
called 'josm-dev'.  Somehow I guess it didn't quite catch on.
