I wear my WBT-201 (slightly larger than a matchbox) fixed to the
shoulder strap of my backpack; It has two buttons, one which sets a
waypoint - this leads to a "Start Trek communicator"-like movement
with my right hand touching the button on my left shoulder. I haven't
used that with a voice recorder yet but unless you get out of sync
(waypoints are just numbered) it should work pretty well.
