I just read about this on the Make Blog - the Bug:

A handheld computing appliance that can be configured as desired for the 
purpose at hand with add-on peripheral modules.  And it's an open 
platform (built around Linux and Java).  Onboard the base unit, it's got 
a wired ethernet, wi-fi and usb.

The initial set of modules are a GPS, digicam, accelerometer, and 
touch-screen display.  Shortly thereafter, a thumb keyboard and audio 
board are planned.

It sounds like they're already looking at capturing the OS mapper 
market, eh?
