Sweden's second ever mapping party was a success last weekend and much of the map data is appearing now in the OSMarender view.

Västerås is, for Sweden, a large 100,000+ population town http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Västerås whose cunning European accents can completely screw-up English email browsers. Home historically of the three-phase electric motor and now of 340 km of cycle-paths. An old town based on the shores of Sweden's third largest lake, Lake Mälaren http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mälaren it was a pleasant place to visit. Oh, and it has its own prehistoric labyrinth.
Daytime surveying power was provided by Lars, Joel, Johann, John and Mike: 3 cyclists, one pedestrian and one motorist and at night the Lingon-juice flowed like water. We got much of the inner city and broader road framework done.
Thanks to Lars Aronsson for organising it.
