yes, roadmap and gpsdrive are similar.  i may be corrected here, but
in the past the major difference has been that roadmap has
rendered vector data, where gpsdrive (as i understood it)
rendered maps as background.  it seems that with OSM support,
this has changed?  sounds like a good feature!
