This is a call that goes out to the OSM domain admins.

Some might like it or not, but since March this year there is a public 
forum dedicated to the OSM cause. Many users, especially newbies, have 
found their way to this forum, hence it is providing an (important) 
service to this project.

Since there is a sub domain http://forum.openstreetmap.org, which points 
to a Plesk CC page somewhere, I humbly request that it is forwarded to 
the forum that is in use today: http://osm.na1400.info. Om my request 
the webhoster has made special provisions to allow this construction.

I have asked this before a long time ago using private emails to no 
avail, but I feel it might help if tried it this way.

So, please, can someone make this happen? Thanks in advance.

BTW: If there is any good reason why forum.openstreetmap.org should not 
be forwarded then I am willing to hand over a backup of the website and 
database to OSM so it can be placed directly on one of it's servers. In 
that case I also volunteer to keep the forum spam free and provide other 
forum admin services.
