In an attempt to make it somewhat integrated, I experimented a little:

A web forum is available at:
http://dev.openstreetmap.org/phorum

It uses the regular OSM/API username passwords. You should be able to log in using your display name or your email-login. Attention: when using your email log in, that will be visible on all forum pages, so I'd think you'd prefer you display name log ins.

Also if you want to receive e-mail notifications, you will have to enter that e-mail in your profile.

I would be happy if others would volunteer for moderator and admin posts of that thing.

If it proves to be useful, feel free to use that thing, otherwise I have been learning a lot and won't be sad either.
