[OSM-talk] Single sign-on

In the forums thread there has been a lot of talk of single sign-on.
This makes me wonder whether it would be viable to start using
pubcookie or something similar for authentication and migrate
everything to it. Ie eg migrate the API username/password to to this
new system and make a way to link your wiki account to that
infstructure as I'm quite confident that some people would like to
keep their screen names separate in wiki and map.

A major benefit of having a proper single sign-on service would be the
ease of adding new services that require authentication.
