[OSM-talk] JOSM slippymap plugin updated / coastline editing

Hi,

I am in the process of giving Iceland the coastline it deserves ;-)
- I have uploaded the coastline, had all tiles rendered through the
tiles at home queue, and am now looking at the results and fixing it
wherever there are blue areas that shouldn't be there and vice versa.

I have updated the JOSM slippymap plugin to better support this task,
through three new options (reachable from the context menu):

1. "load all tiles" - loads all slippy map tiles for the area you are
currently viewing.

2. "request update" - inserts the tile you clicked on in the
tiles at home re-render queue.

3. "show details" - displays tiles at home metadata for the tile.

Everything is still quite rough, the metadata show up unparsed, only
zoom level 12 is supported and only the standard t at h layer - if
someone wants to continue improving it, you're welcome ;-) I think it
would be great to have some kind of integrated ocean tile index editor
("make this a land tile") or so but have no clue how to best do this.

Anyway, fixing a large strech of coastline is now quite easy, just
pull up the area in JOSM, zoom out, do a "load all tiles", zoom in to
areas that need fixing, download OSM data for that area, fix, upload,
request re-render; rinse and repeat.

New source and JAR in SVN.

Bye
Frederik
