We have official bicycle routes in Pennsylvania that I have been wanting 
to tag. (http://www.dot.state.pa.us/BIKE/WEB/tour_routes.htm)
I was thinking of using the "ncn_route" tags.  I don't see how this is 
any worse than using "motorway" when I mean "interstate highway" etc.
