[OSM-talk] Google using AND for China coverage

Hi Folks,

I noticed recently that google maps, the english/international version at
maps.google.com has data for China again, it all disappeared some time ago,
potentially due to their classification of Taiwan... What I didn't notice
until today however is that the copyright info at the bottom shows that one
of the sources is AND which I thought was kind of interesting...

see how Beijing looks...

The data they have there seems pretty old and while they have city
locations, the roads don't really give a good idea of what's there today...

For comparison, try google's Chinese version of the map...
