Any segment tagged with something "interesting" that is not also on
the way it belongs to will be converted to a two-node way.

By special rule, "width=4" is *not* considered "interesting" as
thousands of segments seem to be indiscriminately tagged with this.
So, the answer to your question is that the width information will
simply vanish.

(If it were width=3, width=5, or height=4, a new two-segment way would
be created.)
