    just a side note:

Ockham's Razor is often used when deconstructing paranormal claims  
and it goes about so: If something can be explained by a simple and a  
more complex theory, always go for the simpler one. Ockham's Razor  
does not say something about the way in which things should be done,  
it is only about explaining phenomena.
