perhaps better:

name_short=V.le don Luigi Storzo;V.le Luigi Sturzo;V.le L.Sturzo

or?

Agreed!  I brought up exactly the same question a couple of months ago, and 
got convinced that that would make the most sense. Not that I've seen any 
renderers pick it up, though...  :-P
