I made a number of improvements to gosmore during the last few days :
* It's now possible to do everything with finger taps
* Added a very robust NMEA to GPX converter so that it can be used as
a datalogger.
* Solved a number of WinCE issues.
I tested it on my WinCE 4.2 Core based GPS receiver and am cautiously
optimistic that it will run on most Windows CE / Windows Mobile
devices. These include GPS receivers made by Becker, Navigon and JNC.
I unlocked mine (now booting Windows Explorer) by using ActiveSync to
change a small configuration file. Many other devices were unlocked by
the guys at http://www.hpcfactor.com/
To test it on your device, get gosm_arm.exe and gauteng.zip from
http://www.rational.co.za/gosmore Run the exe file after you placed in
the same directory as the pak file. I hope to make pak files available
for other cities and provinces soon.
See http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/Gosmore for more details.
Regards,
Nic
