Well the remote villages I visit sometimes when hiking probably haven't 
heard yet of internet ;).
And they usually don't like surveyors, since they fear someone will 
steal their land :)
So I think my pocket is still the best strategy for this situation... 
especially when I see 'beware of dog' sign :)
