As your tagging a campus, I wonder if something like this is useful to you:
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/Durham#New_tagging_system
It's because the city of Durham has the 'Science Site' campus (not fully
mapped inside yet)
http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=54.76908&lon=-1.57135&zoom=15&layers=B0FT
but then it also has departments dotted around in lots of buildings, e.g.
Sports department, Sociology dept, Old Shire Hall admin office on one road
amongst other private buildings.

I'm planning(trying to find time) to have a map that makes the uni buildings
stand out, and some sort of key to help find them.
But don't count on me doing that and so feel free to use your own tagging if
you think it's worth saving the information.
I will probably post to talk list if I ever get something running.
