Finally got around to adding up the numbers. In total a whole 10  
people gave me a figure (including me). The final total for photos  
was about 42G. Not a huge figure really...

Jon - I don't think there's a huge number of features needed really,  
basically what we would need is somewhere to put large amounts of  
photos for no charge, and then ideally the ability to query them  
using various methods, including a lat/lon bounding box.

I think the biggest issue here would be the server space really, I  
actually don't think it's too unrealistic though, just the usual  
constraints over who has time to sort it out, and whether there's  
more important things to be done first.
