I saw the drawn above captions problem, but when I looked again another 
time, it was gone. Has there been a second rendering fixing that errors?

Anyway, I'd like to report another issue, which is that highways are 
usually rendered above everything else or at least above buildings. But 
that should not be true in case the street is marked with "area=yes".

The new rendering renders at least highway=pedestrian with area=yes 
above buildings, which can be seen on the Stephansplatz in Vienna[0].

At the moment this has to be tried to fix with layers, let's see what 
next week brings.

Layers are anyway somehow strange, since I found a small castle which is 
built in a lake and simply added as building over the lake[1] has not 
been rendered, though it is layer=1 whereas the lake is layer=-1.

I think, though it's not the best way to tag that castle, at least it 
should render.
