[OSM-talk] Pretty image of the planet (and some scribbles)

I have just uploaded the pretty image of the planet to our Flickr site.

We have also entered it for Image of the Week
(http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Talk:Featured_images#A_year_of_edits_on_
planet_earth) but I am not sure how the process works. Does anyone know?
Where does the discussion that is referred to take place?

 

If you look at this image you will see some very wide area scribbles on it
(more visible on the larger sizes). In the ones that I have looked at they
didn't seem to have any attributes associated with them and so they
shouldn't render on any actual maps but people might like to take a look at
them and remove them if they don't have a purpose.
