Hi,

In the Philippines, landcover and landuse are often interchangeable.
But they are completely different.
Land cover is the physical material at the surface of the earth,
while, land use is a description of how people utilize the land [1]

For example, I have an area mostly covered by forest so I tag them
natural:forest.
But a mixture of landuse (sometimes conflicting), like, tourism,
quarrying, national park, etc.
How do others map this?

cheers,
maning
