It's fairly standard usage, you see a doctor at the doctors, a butcher
runs the butchers. There should really be an apostrophe in there I
think, ie: the butcher's shop, the doctor's surgery. But that's not
really how people think of it. Just stick both on and point out
everyone else's bad grammar :-)

They're bins. In England at least you'd talk about rubbish bins (1),
or just bins (12), but I don't think we've really paid much attention
to mapping them. Trash is the American version of rubbish. While a
waste basket is something you might expect to find under your desk,
given the context it's fairly unambiguous what was meant... the things
under your desk are movable and might be tricky to map :-).

Waste disposal sounds more like a tip / rubbish dump to me, rather
than a simple bin -- it might be a good idea to see where these have
actually been used to check that.
