[OSM-talk] trace from a kml ?

Most of the available mobile phone  software  has problems with

reliability on handhelds that are not identical to those that
development

took place on . I have good experiences with whereami, who's only 

reliability problem is the red button on the Nokia, ending the program

without message. Not necessarily true for your phone however.

I made a 4 hour trip, recording over 100 places in audio with MTE. But
the saved gpx is 0 byte long.

Fortunately, I also saved the trace as a kml, which displays correctly
in google earth.

But if I try to convert from kml to gpx with GPSBabel, I get a
"trackfilter-init: Found track point without time!" error, and no
conversion occurs.

Does someone know a way to use my data ? Thank you for advice !
