Not quite sure what you mean. 0.6 transactions will just be (AIUI)  
"groups" of edits, nothing more. There is no suggestion that a set of  
edits should be considered incomplete just because the transaction is  
still open. Transactions will simply allows us to rollback a group of  
edits in one hit.

At present, if way 2342341 contains node 645678 and you move said  
node, Potlatch will write a new revision of 2342341 - partly to give  
the 'created_by' for that user/timestamp, because Potlatch doesn't  
write created_by on nodes.

All that will change with 0.6 is that Potlatch will no longer need to  
revise 2342341, because the created_by information (and possibly other  
metadata) will be in the transaction.

Follow-ups to dev, probably.
