Because we do not only provide data (which is our "outstanding
contribution" award) for OSS projects which otherwise will have no one
to go to for geodata, but also contribute to the Geo-OSS ecosystem as
well. (Have a look at our svn if you have doubts).

Anyway, it was great fun ;)
