I didn't come up with it, it's already being used for other similar things where the same tag appears multiple times.

maxspeed:school_zone wouldn't need days, this should be stored in an administrative boundary that covers when the school zone would be in effect.

All values are made up and not real, but an example for boundary tags could be:

admin_level=4
boundary=administrative
...
school_days=mon-fri
school_terms=20090128-20090321,20090401-20090701,....
